Interpreter and recording of hearings

A person who takes part in a hearing has the right to speak in English or French and to be assisted by a certified translator.

That right does not include the right to demand that the Financial Markets Administrative Tribunal cover the cost of the services of the translator.

All hearings before the Tribunal are recorded. You may obtain a copy of the recording, by submitting a request to the Secrétariat.

For a written transcription, you must obtain the services of a stenographer. At the Tribunal's request, the stenographer must send a copy of the transcription.
