Thank you for visiting the site of the Financial Markets Administrative Tribunal and for reading our privacy policy.
The Tribunal's site does not place permanent cookies on the hard drives of visitors' computers. No personal information is gathered unless you give prior consent.
You cannot be identified personally by information transmitted automatically between computers. The information is collected because of the technical requirements for Internet navigation and is used for statistical purposes.
As soon as you access the www.tmf.gouv.qc.ca site, the following information, which does not identify you personally, is exchanged between your computer and the server for the site:
This exchange of information is necessary for the server to send you a file compatible with your computer equipment. The Tribunal stores the information so that it can keep track of the number of visitors, the pages most visited, the technology used by visitors to the site, the referring sites and users' countries of origin.
If you decide to send us personal information—by email or by filling out a form—we will use only the information we require to answer and follow up on your request. Electronic messages are treated as confidentially as regular mail.
In no case is the information provided used to draw up user profiles or communicated to a private organization.
Our site provides links to the sites of Québec government departments and bodies, and to the sites of private organizations. The information exchanged on these sites is not subject to the Tribunal's privacy policy, but to that of the external site, if it has one.
